Talk of CEO and CTO on Cloud Apps Adoption

Recently, I had an opportunity to share my thoughts and insights with the DevOps community in Estonia at Nordic DevOps Days. During the discussion, I highlighted the importance of considering business needs over chasing after the latest technologies when it comes to using public clouds, especially for engineers and CTOs. I also pointed out the trend of businesses migrating out of public clouds to private data centers in the past year (Twitter, Uber, Basecamp) due to the increasing complexity of applications. I emphasized that stepping out of the cloud infrastructure can make businesses more efficient and help them overcome the challenges of complexity.
